    Imaging & Radiology

Radiology is the science that uses medical imaging to diagnose and treat diseases within the body. At Ferrell Hospital, our board-certified radiologists and highly skilled staff members perform a variety of diagnostic radiology exams to screen for possible disease, help diagnose a disease or condition, and find out how well the body responds to treatment.

We use several types of imaging techniques such as x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine, to see structures inside your body and use that information to guide your treatment. These services are available 24 hours per day for emergency room patients and inpatients.

Most screening exams, such as chest x-rays and 3D mammography, are offered Monday - Friday during the day.

We currently offer 3D screening mammography each weekday without a physician order; however, if a patient needs a diagnostic mammogram, Saturday appointments are available, but a physician order is required..
